Charlie and I saw Dr. Rinehart on Wednesday. We met with a great genetic counselor and learned about all of our options for screening our wee one. The doc completed a few tests during the sonogram, checking for the nasal bone and the measured a space in the back of the neck. Well, Rockaroo was clear of physical indicators Down syndrome, and my blood work came back with wonderful marks as well. All around, it was a great appt!
We got to see the baby, so I better share a photo:
We also got a video!! Can't wait to show our families. Speaking of family -- we will see Charlie's in just one week!!!
Baby's heart rate was 152 on Wednesday. Maybe this means a boy? ;)
Today, I am 12 weeks 3 days pregnant. Almost out of the first trimester (or semester, as I keep accidentally referring to it). Happy happy!
