We celebrated with a Gender Reveal Party with a great group of friends! We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to share this incredible surprise with such good people. We shared the moment on facebook for our families. Everyone is just so darned excited! Here's a photo of the reveal:
It was such a neat get together. Here are some photos of the decorations, goodies, and guests!
How adorable is this banner that Jane made?! I absolutely love it!
So many treats! Love how all of the teal and yellow came together.

Melissa with her super cute little man, Owen!
Baby hang time!
Friends...with a Tyler photo-bomb, which is totally normal. :)
Everything about yesterday was just awesome. I can't say enough about how grateful I am! To top it all, I woke up to a post from my sister, Lynndee, on facebook that said this:
"Tomorrow will be 12 years since daddy passed away. And I think you having a boy is a sign from him! I have a feeling lil boy Rockwell will be so much like him. :) Daddy would be so proud of you. And just the thought of being a Grandpa would make him smile so big! I know he is looking down on you guys and wrapping his arms around you. LOVE YOU SO MUCH, KK!!!!!!"
I miss my dad so so much. But Lynndee is right -- I always know he's with me. I'm so glad that a day that holds such a sad memory is sandwiched between some of the best days I've ever had. I'm one lucky lady.
Also, I don't know that I've mentioned it enough, but I have the best husband in the world. I don't care how sappy it ever sounds, but he is going to be an outstanding father and role model for our boy. I have so much love for him and the little family we are starting. :)
